Robert Lumpi/ CoatingPoint /Fraud and Bribery
The Nuremberg-Fürth Public Prosecutor’s Office conducted an extensive criminal investigation against Robert Lumpi (Case No.: 503 Js 1715/23). The investigation focused on criminal charges of (aiding and abetting) embezzlement, bribery and accepting bribes in business transactions, and fraud. The investigation included numerous interviews and analyses of bank account transactions—as a result of which Lumpi was ultimately convicted.

In the course of the investigation, Robert Lumpi confirmed the key facts and made a full confession.
Among other things, Mr. Lumpi bribed external company employees to secure contracts. He had purchase requests created for goods for which the business partner actually had no need whatsoever.

… was born in Nuremberg in 1967. He has lived in Burgthann with his wife and two children since 1990. He completed an apprenticeship as a painter and varnisher from 1984 to 1987, obtained his master craftsman’s certificate in 1992, and went on to earn a degree in business administration for the skilled trades in 1994. In 1997, he opened a company with five employees together with a business partner.
Since 2018, Robert Lumpi has been running his company, Coating Academy, independently.
